Stearns Wharf - February 21, 2010

Today there was a chance of showers so we skipped the hike and walked down to the pier instead. We got all bundled up and then the weather couldn't decide if it was going to be warm or cold so we kept taking off and putting on clothes. Didn't end up needing our umbrellas either! We had lunch at Longboards, well some of us did. Sebastian decided to watch the table next to us, and was not even remotely interested in food. He had some when we got home instead. Then we rode the shuttle back home and it was time for quiet time and naps and then normal play-dinner-bath-bed routine after that. Nice and mellow day.

Sebastian went back and forth on this ledge for a long time!

Then he stopped and picked some flowers. Flowers are nice. When we got on the shuttle he had picked a big rock. We didn't realize he had it until after a while and when we asked where he got it he said: "In the flowers." Very matter of fact.

Isabella got to pick flowers too. She was very curious about them, but she preferred to pick them apart rather than smell them.

Or have pappa smell them instead.

When we got home Isabella had a package from great-grandma Greta in Norway. She had knitted two sweaters for her! This one fits perfectly right now! Isn't it sweet? The other one will fit in a little while. Lucky little girl :-)
