First stop, middle of the road on the way to the Falls so I could take pictures of these turkey vultures. They were pretty good size and pretty ugly. There were five or six sitting on the wires right next to the road. I didn't stop for too long, didn't want them to get their hopes up :-p
Actual destination...Nojoqui Falls...well, this is the trail up to the falls. So serene, and pretty quiet. Nice and cool and shady.
The creek that runs along most of the trail, and that Sebastian continuously requested to splash in...all the way up, and all the way down :-)
Final destination!! Nojoqui Falls. They actually had a pretty good amount of water in them, thanks to the rain. So pretty! Not like huge waterfalls or anything, more like nice and sweet little ones, though pretty tall (about 100 ft I think).
Trying to figure out how he can get to splash in the water!!
Hurry up and take the picture before he tries to push her off his lap! I made it :-)
How big are the waterfalls? That big!
Now that I'm done looking at the waterfall, can I get off this rock?
Finally get to test the water!! It was cold, but he wanted to splash anyways.
He really wanted to touch the waterfall, but mamma was not wading in there! It was way to cold for that. Sorry, no touching the waterfall this time.
Stop number ?? on the way down to throw some more rocks in the water. If we had a little creek in a yard we wouldn't need any toys for him :-p
Isabella was happy to get out of the Ergo carrier for a little while on the way down. She even got to sit in this neat tree and check out the view. She's so mellow some times.
Another tree picture...just because it's cute :-)
Trying to get Sebastian to sit still and/or face the camera when there was water near was pretty pointless :-p. So no pretty tree pose pictures of him this time.

Nature provides the most exciting toys in the world. Now we know what to do next time we are in SB...go hiking with the little ones. Yes, you can come, too....we need a guide.
Nana Chris is overjoyed to participate in your hike! The one picture of Isabella on the tree trunk looks like she's sitting on an elephant trunk. Beautiful pictures--showing mild weather, warming me in this still very brrrr cold corner of France--at least the snow has melted!
Thank you very much!!
