On our way back... in Paso Robles

The Academy of Sciences Cafe in San Fran

The adults went to the Museum while Basti napped in the stroller... and slept through the fire alarm and building evacuation too!

Our kid is a bit of a poser sometimes.  He climbed up there by himself and sat down.

The irish pub in San Fran on Beach street.  Don't eat there... it's terrible.

This is actually in Ventura at the Natural Cafe (Natures Grill)... it was hot out. so Basti was being cool.

Paso Robles

This is in SB on Saturday night before we left for San Fran... Marian made that costume... everyone thought he was extremely cute.

Good eats and bad eats. Pass on the Irish pub. Lori's diner is just cool cause they have pictures of Sonja Henie, a Norwegian figure skater who won the olympics 3 times in a row, and I think, was the youngest (15) to win gold at the time. She actually competed in her first olympics at 11...we better get some skates on Basti. She became one of the highest paid Hollywood movie stars afterwards. Plus the diner is across from H&M, which they need in SB.

Paso Robles had a good bistro, Berry Hill Bistro, the food was good, and there was a cute town square outside where Bastian got to let out some steam before the second half.

We managed not to get sick this travel. Even if SF was rather chilly and I could have left the shorts at home. We ended up buying sweaters, hat, scarf, long sleeve shirts...the stuff you can't really find in SB because it's perpetually sunny :-p.

But SF is neat, even if it's cold. De Young is definitely worth a visit, just as much for the museum as for the art. And there was a hot dog stand near by with the best brownies I've ever had.

All in all my favorite thing was that Basti rediscovered the nap after about two weeks of non-napping at home. Now he takes a nap at least some of the time :-)

And my word verification is holodykt. Is that kind of a holografic misspelled aqueduct?
