Christmas 2009

We celebrate Christmas Eve, and this was the first time we celebrated it here at home. Not too many pictures from that...we pretty much had our hands full :-). Mamma cooked and pappa handled the kiddos. After a better turkey dinner we attacked the presents. But not before mamma snapped at least a couple of pictures.

Isabella really wanted to touch the Christmas ornaments. Notice the little fingers? Sebastian was really good his first Christmas. He'd touch them, but very carefully. He wasn't too sure about the Christmas tree, so he pretty much left it alone. We didn't have a cage for the tree his first Christmas. This Christmas, I think he would have torn it apart :-p. The ornaments would definitely not have remained where we put them, so the cage was mostly because of the big one, not the little one :-)

Mamma wanted a shot of the two Christmas kiddos before opening presents...Sebastian was not very interested in that. "Are you done yet?!?"

Pappa, it's time to open presents! Stop playing with your phone!

Sebastian had a total meltdown halfway through the present opening, so we decided to get him in bed and finish in the morning. Isabella got to finish opening hers, and she got a big teddy from mamma and pappa :-). I didn't manage to get any good pictures of much else being opened, but thank you to all for awesome presents! Clothes and toys and goodies are being used and played with and eaten! (I will get thank you cards out soon too, I promise!)

We tried on sweaters they got a couple of days after. These were knitted by my grandma, their great grandma in Norway. Tusen takk mormor/oldemor!!
